Some people have asked me if I can convert my Static Y cursor sets (see below) to .cur-files.

First of all, if you haven't noticed yet:
Those are cursor sets for CursorFX! The download does not include .cur-files for Windows! You need CursorFX to use those cursors!

About converting them:
No, I will not do that. Here are the reasons:
:bulletblack: Converting to .cur is not that easy. There is no "Convert to .cur"-button, at least not in the software I have (or maybe I just haven't found it yet). I would have to create every single .cur-file. Since I would have to convert all color sets (as soon as I have converted one, somebody wants another color converted) that would be a lot of files. 9 colors x 15 or maybe 20 cursors per set ... Even if I wanted to do it, I don't have the time for that at the moment.

:bulletblack: The software I have to create .cur-files does not support the clicking effect (change of color) anyways. Either no effect at all, or constantly animated. No event-related effects though.

:bulletblack: I submitted them to the CursorFX category, so I don't see why people are so surprised when the download does not contain .cur-files?!
I also don't understand why people have such a big problem with CursorFX just because it's "third party software" or because it "uses so much resources on the computer". Come on:
It's free, it's a small program, and it only takes 1 MB of RAM when running, so get over it. Why should I spend a lot of time on converting the cursors when all you would have to do is download that little program? If you don't want to do it, that's fine, but please understand that this is not my problem then. Those cursors are free, so please don't look a gift horse in the mouth...

Last but not least the most important reason:

:bulletblack: Windows resizes all cursors to 32x32 px. Believe me, that's too small for those cursors. The images become pixelated, you can hardly see the color anymore, and as I already mentioned, there would be no clicking effect. It just does not look good anymore. You would not want to use them anyways in that state, so I won't even bother convert them.

:bulletred: => Too much work for unsatisfying results, so no, I will not convert those cursors.

If you want them the way they are, here are the CursorFX files:

:bulletblue: Ice Blue
:bulletblue: Glacier Blue
:bulletgreen: Lime Green
:bulletgreen: Poison Green
:bulletred: Fire Red
:bulletorange: Pumpkin Orange
:bulletpink: Raspberry Red
:bulletyellow: Lemon Yellow
:bulletblack: Chrome Grey

FYI: The current software allows for canvas adjustment rendering the the cursor any size you'd like. As well, the cursors can be size formatted for [32,48] screen resolution. People are using larger screens. It's a shame that these cursors aren't ported for windows, they'd be perfect. Check out Real World Cursors. If u ever change ur mind, drop me line. All I need is the image source, you'd like the finished conversion.
